The Allotments
Felmingham Parish Council rents approximately 4 acres of land in the parish from Norfolk County Council, which is available as allotments of various sizes for a minimal rent.
Rent is charged half yearly in May and October and new tenants pay a £25 deposit to contribute to the cost of any remedial work necessary should the tenant vacate their plot in an unfit state to re-let. Should no action be required, the deposit will be returned.
Priority is given to residents in the parish, but is open to anyone else in the surrounding parishes if there are any vacant plots. There is occasionally a short waiting list.
For more information or to apply for an allotment, please contact either Christine Westlake, Parish Clerk or Cllr. Neil Thrush who has an allotment himself.
